We are SO excited to be launching our new online Merch Store. Over the years we have put together exclusive, small runs of merchandise for our performers and a few lucky individuals who managed to be at the right place at the right time, but this is the first time we have worked towards creating a whole collection of sweet D² swag – pretty cool right?

This isn’t just a marketing move or shameless piece of self promotion. Like many in the entertainment industry, D² have been hit incredibly hard by the current COVID-19 crisis. We have lost countless gigs and even though lockdown procedures may be relaxing a little in the coming weeks, it will be a long time before the large scale events we specialise in kick off again. This has left us with zero income for both D² as a performance ensemble as well as our wonderful team of musicians.

Our primary aim with this new online store is to try and find a way to support our ensemble and support our musicians through this difficult time. 100% of the profits from our merchandise will go towards covering D²’s operating costs, supporting our musicians, and creating new educational opportunities for young drummers and percussionists in the future.

D²’s primary focus has always been supporting our team and helping develop Drumline culture in Australia. This new store is one baby step towards helping continue to make this happen even when times are tough. Please check out the store and jump on in with a purchase if you feel like helping out.
