Formed in 2010 by Campbell Phillips and Stephen Liew in response to a demand for high quality precision drumming ensembles, the D²Drumline is now one of Australia’s most highly sought after entertainment ensembles and the only professional drumline of its kind in the country.
The Drumline have a strong reputation for their exciting performances and professional approach to every show. Made up almost entirely of professional musicians (with the odd engineer/dentist thrown in for good measure), the group are highly adaptable, completely mobile, and are experts at creating hot spots of entertainment in a variety of environments.

D² are experts at either adapting their existing skill sets and performance to the requirements of each individual performance as well, or simply create a whole new show from scratch. The Drumline also loves collaborating with other amazing artists and over the years have performed with fire dancers, cheerleaders, trickers, hip hop dancers, MCs, DJs, classical violinists, children’s choirs, and world/african percussionists.
The D²Drumline also play a very important educational role in the Australia percussion scene. In addition to their busy performance schedule, the drumline regularly present school workshops and masterclasses around the country, run the D² Training Corps and the Summer Intensive, and host the National Drumline Camp.
