The D² Training Corps is a fun and focused drumline class that is designed to take students through every aspect of Drumline technique, etiquette, discipline and visual development. Each semester of the Training Corps is 9 weeks long in total and is a great way for percussionists and drum kit players to get a taste for the drumline world while enhancing their hand technique and rudimental control for application to general drum kit and percussion.

In addition to being a great way for general drummers and percussionists to work on their rudimental chops and enhance their technique for day-to-day playing, the Training Corps has proved very successful at assisting prospective D² members prepare for their audition for the drumline.

All classes are facilitated by D² Director, Campbell Phillips.

Students are divided up into skill based ensembles based on both their drumming background and whether or not they have undertaken previous Training Corps classes.

Junior Training Corps classes are available for students from years 7 – 11 who are already undertaking drum lessons.
