Earlier this month, D²Drumline was proud to represent the Drummer Queens for the AFLW Season Launch and the AFL Grand Final Parade. We joined forces with Taj Aldeeb, Laura Smith, Laura Harris, Katie Thomas, Kim Woon, and Charlotte Thompson under the direction of Campbell Phillips in collaboration with Joe Accaria. It was a great experience to perform in these major footy celebrations.

Drummer Queens is a show created by Joe Accaria that puts female drummers front and centre. The group blends powerful drumming with movement and theatrical elements, offering a fresh take on live music and making it a crowd favourite at events and theatres across Australia. The aim has always been to showcase world-class percussion talent and give female performers a bigger stage.
Drummer Queens perform regularly all over Australia, appearing at festivals, live shows and theatre venues throughout the year. The brand is also extending its reach – with plans underway to establish a Drummer Queens group in Los Angeles for future US performances. It’s an exciting step, and we’re glad to be part of the journey as the Melbourne representatives.
A big thanks goes out to Joe and the Solution Entertainment team for their support and organisation. Being part of the Drummer Queens crew in Melbourne is something we’re genuinely excited about – and we’re looking forward to more opportunities to bring this unique show to new audiences.
