We are incredibly excited to be hosting Bill Bachman again from 27th March – 9th April, 2016. In addition to his already impressive resume, Bill was recently nominated for Educator/Clinican of the Year in Modern Drummer’s 2015 Readers’ Poll – just in case you needed another reason to come and see this legend in action!

In addition to his legendary status in the world of Drumline and Marching Percussion having worked with The Cadets, Blue Knights, Blue Coats, Magic of Orlando, Carolina Crown during his prolific 12 year DCI career, Bill is an in demand drumset clinician, educator and performer. As a graduate from the University of North Texas and Berklee School of Music, Bill is well renowned in the progressive rock world having filled the shoes of names such as Mike Portnoy on Neal Morse’s North American Tour and is currently recording his second album with legendary Warr guitarist, Mark Cook as a member of Spoke of Shadows.

Bill’s dedication to technical excellence, efficiency and natural fluidity has lead to him being appointed to the Percussive Arts Society’s Health and Wellness Committee and the Modern Drummer Education Team. His latest educational projects include a 12 lesson video series for Modern Drummer Magazine, Vic Firth’s “Bill Bachman Lesson Series” and his wildly successful educational website, drumworkout.com.

Bill will be presenting a small number of events in Melbourne and Sydney and will be available for a very limited number of lessons in both cities. Booking are essential – please see below for full details of each event and to book your ticket.

Private Lessons

A very limited number of private lessons will be available with Bill on a “first come, first served basis”. Lessons are in half hour blocks – there is no limit to the number of lessons an individual can book with the exception of availability. Lessons will be arranged at an agreed time (pending availability) based on the lesson timings provided below.
